Chelsea E. — Professional Groomer
Chelsea is one of our professional groomers who has been grooming since 2002 and joined the North Paws team October, 2014. She has a wealth of knowledge with all breeds of dogs and cats. Whether it be a short maintenance style, breed standard style, custom creative style or full service bath package you can trust to receive a quality service. Building a relationship with clients/pets and consistency of standards are of utmost importance to her. Chelsea has a special interest in puppies/kittens and senior pets, as she enjoys building trust with them through patience and routine maintenance. Skin and coat maintenance are essential to your pet's health along with all other preventative care offered here at North Paws.
Ann T. — Professional Groomer
Ann is a professional groomer and has been a part of the North Paws team since April, 2015. She has been grooming since 2008 and she also has a degree in veterinary technology. Ann’s passions in life are animals and art and enjoys creative and hand scissor haircuts. She is experienced working with all dog breeds and specializes in working with senior and special needs dogs. Whether you want to maintain or pamper your pup she will work with you to find the grooming style and schedule that is right for you.
Malia O. — Veterinary Technician
Malia is a veterinary technician and joined the North Paws team in March, 2016. She discovered her love of animals at an early age and has always wanted to work with them. She is a 2010 graduate of MSB in St. Cloud, MN with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Malia has a special interest in dentistry and finds the process of a dental cleaning to be very rewarding for herself and the patient. In her free time, Malia enjoys fostering for some of the local rescues, spending time with her son and husband as well as her adorable Dalmatians (Bailey & Roxy) and Chihuahuas (Meiko & Mia)!
Stephanie C. — Veterinary Technician
Stephanie joined the North Paws team in April, 2016 and has been in the veterinary field since 2005. She is a veterinary technician and she can be seen working just about everywhere in the clinic. Stephanie attended the veterinary technician program at Argosy University from 2008-2009. She has a professional interest in surgery, preventative care, and client education which is very important to her. She enjoys challenging cases and patients especially the spicy kitties. Outside of work she is busy with her two dogs, Rebel-Blue Healer and Chubbs-Basset Hound and her cat Evee. Stephanie recently got engaged to the love of her life, Dave!
Alyssa — Veterinary Technician
Alyssa holds an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and joined the North Paws team in June, 2016 as a veterinary technician. She has always had a love for animals and has had many different pets as a child including a potbellied pig, cats, bunnies, chickens, a raccoon, a miniature horse, and a dog. Alyssa is newer to the veterinary field but looks forward to expanding her knowledge and learning more about dentistry. She currently has a spaniel mix named Latte. She enjoys spending her free time reading, camping, swimming and spending time with her friends and family.
Pilar K. — Receptionist
Pilar has been a part of the North Paws team since February, 2016. She is our part-time receptionist that helps the clinic when she can. Pilar has been in the vet field since 2011 and really enjoys working with animals. At home Pilar has 2 dogs: Mop the Siberian Husky and Bucket the Shepherd mix.
Jay Jay F. — Practice Manager
Jay Jay joined North Paws team in October, 2014 and is Practice Manager. She can be found in all areas of the clinic but most commonly found at the front desk greeting clients, answering phones, completing invoices, and showing love to just about every animal that walks through the door. Jay Jay has been in the customer service industry since 2003 and in the vet industry since 2011. She has always enjoyed working with customers/clients and loves that she is able to do that in the area of her passion: animals. Jay Jay realized that she wanted to work in the veterinary field at a young age when her first dog she owned was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She wanted to know all the reasoning behind the disease and the treatments involved, even at the age of 12. At home Jay Jay has 2 cats: Chi Bear the domestic long hair and Devin the Dude the Siamese mix. As well as 2 dogs: Tiana the Boxer/American Bulldog and Maya the Boston terrier mix. When not in the clinic Jay Jay enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids, listening to music, and catching up on her shows.
